After reaching the semi-finals for the fourth time in the last seven seasons, Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs side face Liverpool in the last four, with the first leg at Tottenham Hotspur.
Arne Slot’s Reds beat Southampton 2-1 on Wednesday night.
Newcastle, who beat Brentford 3-1 in the quarter-finals, will play Arsenal, who beat Crystal Palace in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium thanks to a Gabriel Jesus hat-trick.
The draw has allowed the possibility of a North London derby final.
The Carabao Cup semi-final matches will be played over two legs starting on the week of January 6 and February 3.

Can Liverpool continue in January?
