LeBron and: Bronny James are back in Cleveland for the Lakers’ game against the Cavaliers … and the hometown team is taking the time to welcome the rookie and his GOAT back home by showing off some pictures from their time in The Land.
The Cavs are known to show love to former players and coaches with ties to Ohio and/or the team … and there was no shortage of old photos to choose from after James left.
Of course, when Bronny was preparing for the wine and gold for the first part of his career, Bronny was a kid growing up in Northeast Ohio.
The Lakers rookie was honored with a throwback photo of the Cavs’ 2016 NBA championship when he was just 15 years old.
The exhibition also featured LeBron posing with her Larry O’Brien and Finals MVP trophies … and D’Angelo Russellwho worked at Ohio State and as an assistant coach for the Lakers Scott Brookswho played for the Cavs.
While LeBron has returned to CLE to play against the Cavs numerous times over the years … this will be the first time Bronny has done so. The 20-year-old is expected to get some minutes during the match.
Broney last saw action against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he and his father made history as the first father-son duo to take the court together during an NBA regular season.
It’s unclear if the rest of James’ crew will be in the building Wednesday night … but given how important family is to the area, don’t be surprised if it’s all love from Cavs fans.
