11:30 a.m. PT — Hannah Berner he responded to an online response to his Netflix barbecue joke Blake Livelywriting on Instagram Story note: … “My Netflix roast joke was filmed before news of the lawsuit. To be 100 percent clear, I support Blake xoxo.”
In comedy, timing is everything… and timing to make jokes Blake LivelyHis alleged misbehavior has clearly moved on, and one of the comedians can be caught over a previously recorded crack.
Here’s the deal…Netflix’s comedy special “Corching 2024: A Roast of the Year” was released on Friday with the famous comic telling the year’s biggest stories.
Hannah Berner – the former reality TV star turned stand-up comedian decided to target Lively over rumors of her complicated personality.
Watch the clip … Hannah notes that the word “c***” has been trending this year … adding that she doesn’t think Blake Lively was all that bad.
While audiences laughed at the time, it’s worth noting that this was filmed earlier this month, before Blake sued costar Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment and allegedly participated in a concerted effort to destroy his reputation.
Public support has swung back in Blake’s favor big time… so Hannah’s joke seems ridiculous at this point.
We broke the story … Blake filed a lawsuit against Justin late last week … accusing him of some shocking behavior on the set of ‘I Ends With Us.’ between employees who worked for Baldoni, who were plotting how to fire Lively.
Baldoni’s lawyers have denied any wrongdoing, but his agency WME dropped him Almost immediately after Lively’s lawsuit was filed.
BTW … Berner’s joke was far from the only irreverent crack of the night … Tim Dillon took the stage and played the ghost of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare Brian Thompson … so no topic was off limits.
We’ve reached out to Blake about Hannah’s prank…no word back yet.
