Bishop TD Jakes says his recovery from a major health issue is a miracle, as he was rushed to the ICU after a health issue last week … and needs emergency surgery.
The megachurch preacher addressed his congregation at The Potter’s House via video call on Sunday, which went up on the screen to a standing ovation.
Jakes of course praises God for his grace and mercy… before I say it, people might not get it, but seeing him alive is basically a miracle.
The bishop explains that he was rushed to the ICU after a medical incident on his stage last Sunday, where he underwent emergency surgery.
TD says he’s getting back to his normal routine…but his doctor wants him to take it slow – it’s unclear what that means going forward.
Jakes ends his mini-sermon by saying that people who take care of others like he does should remember to take care of themselves… and he’s proof of that concept.
As we told you… Jakes was addressing his congregation last Sunday when he suddenly stopped talking and began to convulse on stage. The Potter’s House later released a statement claiming it was just a minor medical incident, although it appears to be more serious than they initially let on.
Jakes is clearly on the mend… and he praises God for helping him along the way.
