Big Bash League 2024/25 live on Sky Sports: Jacob Bethell and Ollie Pope among 15 English players in the squads | Cricket News

Jacob Bethel is making a name for himself during England’s Test tour of New Zealand, and you can watch him live in the Big Bash League this winter. Sky Sports.

The 21-year-old, who scored 50 off 37 balls and followed that up with 96 in 118 against the Black Caps, was signed by Melbourne Renegades in September’s draft and will be one of a number of England players to feature in Australia’s domestic T20 tournament.

All 44 matches will be shown live on Sky Sportswhen Bethel had a brief spell between the end of the New Zealand series with the Renegades and his likely inclusion in India’s white-ball matches (five T20 Internationals, three One Day Internationals) in January and February.

Ollie Pop and Surrey teammate Jamie Overton taken by the Adelaide Strikers, meanwhile Ben Duckett will play for the Melbourne Stars and Chris Jordan will feature for the Hobart Hurricanes.

The Big Bash League will begin on December 15, with the opening match Stars vs five-time champions Perth Scorchers (8.15 UK) until the final on January 27.

The Renegades will be looking for a Big Bash double as their women won the WBBL for the first time when they beat Brisbane Heat in the final on December 1.
