Now many experts have come to the conclusion that Israel is making genocide in Gaza. I agree.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas, a terrorist organization, launched this war with a fierce attack in which 1200 innocent people were killed and 250 hostages were taken away. Israel, like any other country, had the right to defend against Hamas.
But in the last two years Israel has not just defended himself against Hamas. Instead, he waged a comprehensive war against the entire Palestinian people. Now many legal experts have come to the conclusion that Israel is making genocide in Gaza. The International Association of Scientists Genocide has come to the conclusion that “Israel’s policy in Gaza corresponds to the legal definition of genocide”. Israeli human rights groups B’tselem and human rights doctors – Israel has come to the same conclusion as international groups such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
Just yesterday, an independent commission of experts, appointed by the United Nations, repeated this conclusion. These experts concluded: “It is clear that it is intended to destroy the Palestinians in gas through actions that meet the criteria set out in the genocide Convention.”
I agree.
Israel killed about 65,000 people in 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza and injured about 164,000. The full number is probably much larger, buried under the rubble many thousands of bodies. The leak of classified Israeli military database shows that 83 percent of the dead were civilians. More than 18,000 children were killed, including 12,000 years old and younger.
For almost two years, the Netanyahu extremist government has seriously restricted the number of humanitarian aid in gas, and threw all the possible obstacles to the United Nations and other assistance groups trying to provide rescue supplies. This includes an 11-week common blockade in which Israel did not allow to enter food, water, fuel or medical materials. As a direct result of this Israeli gas policy, an anthropogenic hunger has now swept, and hundreds of thousands of people are hungry. More than 400 people, including 145 children, were already starving to death. Every day brings new deaths from hunger.
But this is not just a human cost. Israel systematically destroyed the physical infrastructure of gas. Satellite images show that the Israeli bombing has destroyed 70 percent of all structures in gas. UN estimates that 92 percent of housing units were damaged or destroyed. At this very moment, Israel is demolishing what is left of Gaza. Most of the hospitals were destroyed and nearly 1600 healthcare providers were killed. Almost 90 percent of water and sanitation facilities do not work now. Hundreds of schools were bombed, like each of the 12 universities. Electricity was 23 months old.
And this is exactly what we know from assistance workers and local journalists who were killed – like Israeli bars outside Gaza media. In fact, Israel killed more journalists in Gaza than died in any previous conflict. Bottom line: Probably much we don’t know about the scale of the atrocity.
Now, with the full support of the Trump administration, the Extremist Netanyahu government has openly pursues an ethnic purification policy in Gaza and the Western Bank. Having made life an impossible route of bombing and hunger, they push the “voluntary” migration of Palestinians to neighboring countries to give way to the twisted vision of President Trump “Riviera of the Middle East”.
Genocide is defined as actions taken from “the intention to destroy, completely or in part, national, ethnic, racial or religious group.” The actions include the murder of the group members either “intentionally inflict group living conditions, calculated to lead to physical destruction completely or in part.” The legal issue depends on the intention.
Israeli leaders made it clear their intention. At the beginning of the conflict, the Defense Minister said: “We fight human animals and act respectively.” The Minister of Finance promised that “the gas will be completely destroyed”. Another minister stated: “All gas will be Jewish … We destroy this evil.” Israeli President Duke said, “This is a responsible whole nation there.” Another minister urged “to wash all the gas from the face of the earth.” Another Israeli legislator said: “The gas strip must be flattened, and there should be one offer for everyone – death. We must wipe the gas strip out of the map. There are no innocent.” Another member of the Kneseta urged “to wash all the gas from the face of the earth.” More recently, the minister in the Israeli Security Cabinet said: “The city of Gaza itself must be really like Rafa, which we have turned into the city of ruins.”
The intention is clear. The conclusion is impossible: Israel makes genocide into gas.
I understand that many people may disagree with this conclusion. The truth is whether you call it a genocide or ethnic purification or mass atrocities or war crimes, the way forward is clear. We, as Americans, must finish our complicity in the slaughter of the Palestinian people. That is why I collaborated with a number of my colleagues on the Senate to force votes under seven joint resolutions to stop the offensive weapons sales in Israel. The United States should not continue to send many billion dollars and weapons to the Genocidal Netanyahu Government.
By calling it a genocide, we must use every ounce of our impact to demand the immediate ceasefire, a large -scale burst of humanitarian aid that promotes the UN, and the initial steps to provide Palestinians with their own condition.

But this issue goes beyond Israel and Palestine.
All over the world, democracy is in defense. Hate, racism and divide are increasing. The task we are now faced is to prevent the world to go into barbarism where terrible crimes against humanity can happen impunity. We must say now and forever that, although the wars may occur, there are certain basic standards that should be supported. Fasting children should not be allowed. The smoothing of the cities should not become the norm. The collective punishment goes beyond the pale.
The term genocide itself is a reminder of what can happen if we do not receive. This word came out of the Holocaust – the murder of 6 million Jews – one of the darkest sections in human history. Don’t be mistaken. If there is no responsibility for Netanyahu and his compatriots of war criminals, other demagogues will do the same. The story requires that the world acted with one voice to say: enough. No more genocide.
Don’t let JD Vance silence our independent journalism
September 15 Vice -President JD Vance attacks Nation During the hosting Charlie Kirk’s show.
In the clip, seeing millions of times, Haens highlighted Nation In a dog whistle its extremely right followers. Predictably, the abuse of abuse follows.
During the 160 -year -old publication, independent journalism, we acted with the belief that dissent is the highest form of patriotism. We were criticized by both democratic and republican owners – and we are glad that the White House is reading Nation. As long as Vnes is free to criticize us and we have freely criticized it, the American experiment will continue as we should.
To correct the entry on the false requirements of Vance about the source of our financing: Nation The readers are proudly supported as you who support independent journalism and will not intimidate the authorities.
Representatives of the Vnes and Trump administration also outlined their plans for extensive repression against progressive groups. Instead of calling for national healing, the administration uses the death of Kirk as a reason for a coordinated attack on the enemies of Trump on the left.
Now we know Nation is the front and the center on their mind.
Your support today will do our critical work possible in the following months and years. If you believe in the right first amendment to preserve the free and independent press, please donate today.

More than Nation

When the senator arrived in New York in early September, he had a few free minutes to talk to a municipal policy and managing with one of his largest fans, Mammani.

The short catalog “Times -Republican” called for severe repression makes it clear that Trump, not left, breaks the country.

With most of the Democrats New York, who approve the candidate for the mayor party, two minority leaders in the congress remain with hold.
