Barack Obama still moving like he’s POTUS, almost 9 years out of the White House, a simple dinner date Michelle in their favorite Hollywood hot spot, a remarkable display of Secret Service power is required.
The former prez and first lady went to Mother Wolf on Saturday night and their motorcade was something to behold. As they exited the restaurant fans and photos shouted at them…and someone even asked, “Save TikTok”… referring to the government’s pending plan to shut down the platform.
Hey, it’s not his gig anymore, which is why he and Michelle had nothing to say about it. What’s more interesting here is how their Secret Service detail was set up around the restaurant… especially after what happened last time. when they hit a popular Italian restaurant.
TMZ reported … the gunman who was working for the event above Mother Wolf was able to. walk right up to Barack’s SUV when Obama sat inside back in September. Sources say Secret Service agents were standing nearby on the street, but left the staircase fully open … allowing the boy to get very close to the former president.
There was no danger of that happening again Saturday night … as agents swarmed around the Obamas everywhere, even as they left, and Barack waved to the crowd.
