Ange Postecoglou has vowed to continue his fight to restore Tottenham’s fortunes after receiving “direct feedback” from disgruntled fans following their 1-0 Premier League defeat at Bournemouth.
Spurs boss Postecoglou was booed and booed by a disappointing away game at the Vitality Stadium as he saw his toothless side doomed. defeat by Dean Huizen’s 17th minute header.
The Australian refused to elaborate on the heated exchange but said he understood the emotional reaction from supporters.
“I didn’t like what was said because I’m human, but you have to get over it,” said Postecoglou, whose side have won just one of their last six games in all competitions.
“I’ve been around long enough to know that when things don’t go well, you have to understand the disappointment and frustration.
“They’re rightly disappointed tonight because we let the football game get away from us. I’m fine with that.
“They’re disappointed, and rightly so. They’ve given me some direct feedback, which I assume is taken into account.

“All I can say is I’m really disappointed tonight and I’m determined to get it right and I’m going to keep fighting until we do.”
When asked what the traveling support said, Postecoglou answered: “Probably not for here, mate.”
Tottenham started brightly in Dorset but produced little creativity throughout the 90 minutes and were lucky not to lose by a wider margin.
Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Christie hit the post and the impressive hosts failed to capitalize on a number of other chances to put the result beyond doubt.

To compound a miserable evening for the injury-hit north London club, defender Ben Davies limped off his 300th Premier League appearance and faces a possible exit.
“It looks like he’s done with the hamstring,” Postecoglou said.
“He and Radu (Dragusin) have played every game, it’s a position we can’t rotate.
“He’s obviously going to be out for a while, we’ll just have to wait and see how long that lasts.
“It’s kind of a consequence of us having the lineup we have right now.”
