Two goals from Randall Kolo Mouani helped 10-man France beat Belgium 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League in Brussels.

Captain Aurelien Chouamine was sent off for a second yellow card with 15 minutes to go, but Didier Deschamps’ side held on in the closing stages to strengthen their position in second place in Group A2.

Youri Tillmans missed an early penalty for Belgium, but after Kolo Mouani responded by grabbing his opener, Lois Openda ensured the hosts ended the first half on level terms.

Kolo Muani pulled France back with a powerful header shortly after the break and late drama involving Chouameni failed to spoil the visitors’ night.

The visitors were unable to find the back of the net in the first period but improved after the break and Xavi Simmons and Donyel Mullen had great chances in the closing stages to grab a barely deserved point.

Dominik Shobosla scored two goals in the same group Hungary 2-0 win Bosnia in Zenica.
