Italian police have launched a number of raids aimed at the Mafia clans operating in the capital of Sicily and around it.
More than 1,200 officers participated in the operation, who, according to military carbines, was aimed at the “dismantling” of the district’s mafia.
The raids, the largest in a few years, were recognized by the Italian authorities to stop the mafia that rebuilding its governing body known as Kupala.
