‘This Is Us’ Star Milo Ventimiglia Chokes Up Seeing His Burned Down Malibu Home, Video

Milo Ventimiglia lost his house in Malibu

Life has unfortunately imitated art for the This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia who is speaking out after her Malibu home was destroyed in the deadly Los Angeles wildfires.

The actor, whose house ironically burned down during the TV show, drove back to Malibu. CBS Evening News reporter got to see the devastation firsthand after evacuating the Palisades fire with his pregnant wife on Tuesday Rob Mariano and their dog.

During the interview, Ventimiglia chokes to see that her house is no longer standing and that her neighbors’ houses are just charred rubble.

Ventimiglia also gave a reporter a tour of her shattered kitchen, but despite the tremendous loss, she says she still has everything important in life: her family and friends.

As you know, Ventimiglia played Jack Pearson in “This Is Us” and is also known for his role as Jess Mariano in “Gilmore Girls”.

Meanwhile, Ventimiglia wasn’t the only star affected by the wildfires … other bold names who lost their homes in Los Angeles. Spencer Pratt and: Heidi Monday, Adam Brody and: Leighton Meester, Jeff Bridges, Candy spelling, Paris Hilton, Anna Faris and: Anthony Hopkins.

Ten people died as a result of forest fires that destroyed entire districts of Los Angeles. The causes of the fires are still unknown.
