US authorities have said they believe multiple people were involved in the New Orleans attack that killed 15 and injured dozens on New Year’s Day.
The driver of a pickup truck that plowed into a large crowd of people in the city’s French Quarter has been identified as Shamsud-Deen Jabbar, a US Army veteran from Texas who was later killed in a shootout with police.
CCTV footage showed people running to escape as the attack took place.
