NFL 2024 Season Dates
The 2024 NFL season began on September 5 The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in a dramatic way.
The regular season lasts 18 weeks and ends on January 5, 2025.
At the end of the regular season, a total of 14 teams advance to the playoffs, including the teams with the best record in each of each conference’s respective four divisions, plus three more “wild card” teams, which are determined by the teams with the next best records in each conference.
Three rounds of playoff games—the Wildcard Round (Jan. 11-13), the Divisional Round (Jan. 18-19) and the Conference Championship (Jan. 26)—will take place before the Super Bowl showdown.

When is the 2025 Super Bowl?
The 2025 Super Bowl will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9. Live on Sky Sports.
This will be the 11th Super Bowl in New Orleans, most recently in 2013.
