Harassment case against Lizzo dropped

Fashion designer Daniels claims Face oversaw a “dangerous, sexually charged workplace culture,” which the singer denies.

She accused the star’s wardrobe of making “racist and fat-phobic” comments and mocking black women in the entourage.

The singer’s spokesperson called this case an “absurd publicity stunt.”

Her lawyers described Daniels as a “disgruntled” former employee with “baseless and frivolous” claims.

Lisa, known for tracks such as Truth Hurts and Juice, has built her reputation on body positivity, but she has been the target of several similar allegations in the past year.

Daniels’ case echoes previous allegations by three former Face tour dancers who sued the star last August, accusing her of sexual harassment and defamation over multiple incidents in 2021 and 2023.

In a statement at the time, Lizzo denied the allegations, saying, “These sensational stories come from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior while on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.”

The star and her company, Big Grrrl Big Touring, went to court dismiss the dancers’ accusations. The dancers ask for a jury trial.

In April of this year, Face – real name Melissa Vivian Jefferson – assured her fans on the Internet that she won’t be leaving the spotlight anytime soon.

She previously wrote: “I quit,” saying she was tired of being targeted online for her appearance and character.

But she later clarified in a new video: “When I say ‘I quit,’ I mean I quit paying attention to negative energy.”
