Police in the Canadian city of Vancouver say “a number of people” were stabbed and a suspect was shot by officers.
It is not yet clear how many people were stabbed and their condition.
Eyewitnesses told Canadian media that the incident happened at a store near the Vancouver Central Library.
Police are not commenting on the motive for the incident or what led up to the incident.
