Kyrie Irving has been sued by a health and wellness company that claims the NBA superstar bilked it out of nearly $400,000.
The allegations are all spelled out in a new lawsuit that was obtained TMZ Sportswhich was presented on Monday in New York.
The plaintiffs, Elite Mind Solutions, allege that Irving hired them and their high-profile therapist, Natasha McCartneyIn the spring of 2024, the basketball player organized a family vacation for friends and family from June 28 to July 2.
Originally, the lawsuit says, Irving said about 50 to 60 people would attend. But the plaintiffs claim that a few days before the event began, Irving told them there would be about 115. The suit says that when they arrived at the retreat, there were 150 people.
However, the company claims in the lawsuit that it did all the therapeutic exercises and sessions it promised.
In addition, the plaintiffs allege that they provided crisis management services as well as grief counseling after the tragic death of someone at the event.
But, according to the lawsuit, when org. Sent Irving invoices totaling $390,710 for services, he didn’t leave.
They’re now suing Irving, who earned more than $300 million during his NBA career, for breach of contract and more … seeking the money they say they’re owed, plus interest and attorneys’ fees :
