Several fans got into a crazy brawl in the stands during Sunday’s Chiefs-Broncos game… TMZ Sports it has emerged that one of the boys involved has actually been charged with assault.
The incident happened sometime during Kansas City’s 16-14 win over Denver at Arrowhead Stadium.
According to the video shot by the witness, it seemed that everything started when A Patrick Surtain II a supporter started throwing hands at a neighboring fan.
In the video, you can see security trying to break things up … but it resulted in a Surtain fan falling several rows of seats down.
When Surtain’s supporter stood up, he began to tell the security staff. “I didn’t swing at anybody” … but then, suddenly, another Broncos fan ran in and threw two punches to the guard’s face.
The crowd around the fighters stepped in to mercifully end the brawl.
According to court documents obtained by us, one of the fighters is a resident of Colorado Joseph Mascarenaswas charged with assault. His sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 27, documents show.
