The intelligence community is once again sounding the alarm over a “manufactured and amplified” Russian video alleging election fraud in Arizona, warning that Russian activity is likely to focus on battleground states.

“Since our statement on Friday, the IC has observed that foreign adversaries, particularly Russia, are conducting additional influence operations to undermine public confidence in the integrity of US elections and fuel divisions among Americans,” the FBI, ODNI and CISA said in a statement. Monday night

“The IC expects that these activities will increase on Election Day and in the coming weeks, and that foreign influence narratives will focus on swing states,” the officials added in the statement.

Russia, according to the intelligence community, is the “most active threat” in the election.

“In particular, Russian-linked actors are fabricating videos and creating false articles to undermine the legitimacy of the election, instill fear in voters about the electoral process and suggest that Americans are using violence against each other for political preferences, based on available information. ICri”, continued the statement.

“These efforts risk inciting violence, including against election officials. We anticipate that Russian actors will release additional fabricated content with these themes on election day and in the days and weeks after the polls close,” officials said in a statement.

Content with the hallmarks of a Russian influence operation included a video alleging election fraud in Arizona and an article falsely claiming that U.S. officials in swing states plan to orchestrate election fraud using a variety of tactics, such as ballot stuffing and cyberattacks.

CISA said it must seek reliable sources of information – the election officials themselves.
