Zelensky Demands Cease-Fire in Response to Putin’s Call for Direct Talks

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky responded Russia’s direct proposal to Russia in the morning, but said that President Vladimir V. Putin immediately rejected the ceasefire.

Mr Zelenskin’s response did not directly appeal to Mr. Putin’s offer. However, the leader of Ukraine said, “He expects Russia’s ceasefire to approve the ceasefire,” in the social media post, which will begin on Monday.
