When is the Women’s Ashes?
The multi-format series will run from January 11 to February 2 in Australia, with three one-day internationals, as many T20 internationals and a one-off four-day Test match; a day at night at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.

How does the point system work?
Teams score two points for a win in white-ball games or one point each for a washout.
Four points are awarded to test match winners, with sides earning two points each for a draw or draw.
Who keeps the women’s ashes?
Australia do, meaning a series of draws will see the hosts retain the trophy.Alyssa Hill’s side drew 8-8 in England 2023 but have won the previous two series by 12-4 each.
England have not won The Ashes since 2014, after reading their record has played five, lost three, drawn two.
Which players have England selected?

Australia will not be without spin bowling all-rounder Sophie Molyneux with a knee injury requiring surgery, while it is unclear whether Haley will keep wicket as he manages a knee injury on his own.

How will England cope with the “convoluted” schedule?

“My preference would be to have more space between games and the players’ preference as well.
“I’m sure we would have asked for more space between the games in white and the test match. It won’t be easy.
“The schedule is quite tight. There is no flexibility (with the Women’s Premier League) and the Christmas holidays.”
