Woman who tried to calm little girl by throwing food inside Walmart in a viral video says the child was scared because he was separated from his family.
Amber Gregory it’s the woman in black who appears on the scene and tries to calm the little girl down as she throws and hits food packets inside the store.
Many people thought she was the baby’s mother, but Amber says she was just trying to help the little girl… because she reminded her of her own child.

Amber says the girl in the video is not a spoiled brat with a temper tantrum…instead, she says the girl is a non-verbal, neurodivergent child who was afraid to be alone in the store.
He says the girl couldn’t speak, say her name or say what was wrong… and clearly needed help, but most of the adults in the store just pulled out their phones to record the incident instead of helping.
Amber says she has a neurodivergent child, so she has experience and training with this sort of thing… and she says people who say a girl should be spanked as punishment have no idea what they’re talking about here.
She says the people at the store were more interested in watching the girl’s behavior than doing anything positive to help…and she says no one tried to find the child’s family.
Amber says the situation lasted about 45 minutes to an hour … and the video doesn’t show the girl trying to hurt herself with the broken glass she smashed. She also says the child’s parent eventually showed up, and they had to run away from all the people who recorded their phones.
He says police were called, but it’s unclear if a police report was filed.
Meanwhile, a Walmart rep tells TMZ… “Due to the video going viral, the legal team will be tracking down her parents/guardian and pursuing damages.
