A rescued Florida dog that went viral after its owners left it on a fence to be killed by Hurricane Milton is up for adoption… with a fantastic new name.
Here’s the deal… the adorable Bull Terrier made national headlines this week when Milton was barreling down in Tampa when he was rescued by a state trooper who found him tied to a fence… essentially dead to his heartless owner by
Now the pup, aptly named “Trooper” … is ready to be placed with a family who actually curses him, according to the Leon County Humane Society.
Blasting the unidentified former owner as “cruel and mindless” … the shelter said it has been bombarded with requests to adopt Trooper … but is not accepting any applications at this time … “because the poor animal is still recovering. from a stressful event.
For now … Trooper will remain in foster care until he’s ready for a forever home … but the shelter noted there are many other deserving dogs out there in need of adoption.
And it sure sounds like poo will pick litter as far as families go.
Good boy.
