Tyson Fury weighed in at a career-high 281 pounds, but the former heavyweight champion refused to remove any of his clothes, leaving questions about his true weight.

Fury doesn’t have to shave it off for the fight, but Usyk’s camp is adamant that it should be cut.

Promoter Alex Krasyuk told Sky Sports“The beard rule is grossly violated. The WBC rules clearly say. “A boxer may have a trimmed beard and/or mustache unless the thickness of the facial hair is at the discretion of the committee and manager. or in any way affect the stroke or trajectory or (2) cause cuts or scratches to his opponent.

“So,” Krasyuk continued, “Tyson’s beard needs to be trimmed. We’re going to push it further.”

However, the WBC has “no problem” with the length of Fury’s beard.
