The suspect who fatally shot the CEO of UnitedHealthcare Brian Thompson In Manhattan, they may have used a special weapon that’s more common on farms… at least according to the cops.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenney told reporters Friday that police are investigating the possibility that the gunman used a veterinary gun … a larger gun commonly used on ranches and farms.
Kenny says this specialized, larger firearm is used on animals because “if the animal needs to be taken down, the animal can be shot without” the gun making a loud noise.
So far, police say the gun hasn’t been found … although the NYPD has a backpack was found The possibility of belonging to the suspect is being investigated in Central Park.
As we’ve reported, the backpack appears to be an everyday backpack from Peak Designs…a bag designed for serious photographers, but also designed for casual use.

Police say the suspect was captured on video riding his bike into Central Park, then leaving the park on his bike and taking a car to the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Cops believe he boarded a bus and left New York City altogether…and may be headed out of state.
The NYPD said earlier that the suspect arrived in New York City by bus from Atlanta and checked into the dorm with a fake ID.
