President-elect Donald Trump named former California Rep. Devin Nunes as chairman of the president’s Intelligence Advisory Board in a series of announcements on Saturday.
Nunes has been a Trump loyalist and is the CEO of the Trump Media and Technology Group, which runs the president-elect’s social media company Truth Social.

Nunes represented California in the House from 2003 to 2022. He served as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee from 2015 to 2019, as well as from 2019 until his resignation from Congress on January 1, 2022, to lead Truth Social. Nunes will continue in his role at the president-elect’s company as chairman of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board.
