There might be a game of musical chairs in the White House briefing room, as it sounds Trump could replace some traditional media reporters with fraternal podcasters.
Donald Trump Jr confused with a co-conspirator Michael Knowles his “Triggered With Donald Trump Jr.” on the podcast when the topic came up.
Don Jr. said: “I was on the plane with my dad…and we were talking about the podcast world and some of our friends, guys like Rogan and you.” The convo was about adding them, other podcasters and other non-traditional media types to the briefing room.
Don said: “It’s going to blow some heads.”
The thing is, there are only 49 seats in the room, so someone has to go if Trump makes the change. , and he’ll do whatever he wants. During his first term, he barred a CNN reporter from the briefing room, but the judge forced him back.
Trump Jr. has been fuming about the NYT and other media outlets that he says act like face masks, so it’s fair game to change it.
So Theo FonThe Undertaker and other podcast brethren can be front and center during the daily briefings.
