Trae Tha Truth has been searching for his missing daughter for months, and now they are finally reunited.
The Houston rapper tells TMZ Hip Hop that he got a call at 8 a.m. on New Year’s morning saying his ex was the mother of his 6-year-old daughter. Truth – was arrested in El Centro, California on child endangerment charges… a development that led him to his child.
Trey tells us he took the next flight to San Diego from Texas and drove more than 100 miles to a small town near the US border with Mexico, where he was reunited with Truth.
According to Trae, his ex will soon be extradited to Texas … and he’s already back in the Lone Star State with their daughter.
As we reported… It was the truth missing for four months after Trey claimed she dropped him off for a two-day visit with his mother in Houston in August.
Trey says the mother never returned the child, and she claims her ex moved the child from different homes with the help of the grandmother and several others.
He told us he hired a private investigator who tracked his mother to California, where she apparently disappeared … until her arrest.
Now that he’s reunited with his daughter, Trey tells us he’s excited and plans to take things day by day.
