Whoopi GoldbergWant fans to get a mouthful from him… tell fans to dive right in and taste the wheel of cheese bearing his face.
The comedian turned 69 on Wednesday … and in honor of his big day, Whoopi hosted a “Favorite Things” segment on “The View” with the host. Sarah Haynes – very similar to type Oprah previously offered on his show.
In the clip, Whoopi takes viewers through some of her favorite products… olive oil, coffee pods, luggage and more, before stopping by a giant wheel of cheese with her likeness plastered all over it.
Sarah jokes that she’s always wanted her face on a piece of cheese…and, Whoopi is quick to respond. “I like to be eaten once in a while.”
As you can imagine, the comment catches Sarah completely off guard and she leaves the shot…returning a second later and laughing as she hugs her longtime boyfriend.
Most of the audience were taken aback by Whoopi’s sarcasm… although there were a couple who were clearly taken aback by such a silly joke from the legendary star.
Of course, Whoopi did an impression on the stand before moving on to the movies… so she knows her way around a dirty joke or two.
Anyhoo … I hope the audience will enjoy some Parmesan – Whoopi-flavored!
