Svetlana Dali was arrested for the second time this month on Monday after the FBI detained her on a Delta Air Lines flight from the US to France on December 4.

Dali cut the ankle monitor on Sunday and was trying to enter Canada, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

The person who was staying in Philadelphia found the severed bracelet and alerted authorities.

A warrant was issued for his arrest Monday morning from the Eastern District of New York for bail jumping.

The Russian national was apprehended Monday evening in Buffalo. He was on a Greyhound bus trying to cross into Canada.

When law enforcement asked him to produce his passport, he did not have one.

He was arrested and determined to be wanted on an open warrant.

Dalik will appear before a federal judge on Tuesday.

Dalí was initially caught traveling without proper documentation on November 26.

He boarded Delta Flight 264, which was en route from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to Charles-de-Gaulle International Airport in Paris.

But Dali could not avoid being intercepted on the flight, and was returned to the US days later. Once he landed at JFK, he was handed over to the authorities.

According to a statement from the French Interior Ministry, “he was not admitted to French territory because he did not have a valid travel document (visa) and was placed in a waiting area for the time required to be redirected to the US. He had a US residence permit.”

His attempt to enter Canada on Monday will be his second attempt to leave the country illegally in less than 30 days.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
