Sharon Osbourne not a big fan Simon Cowell after they publicly fell out … but he doesn’t care if his daughter Kelly: she’s dating a guy, she tells TMZ.
We caught up with SO as he was leaving Kelly’s 40th birthday party in Hollywood … and we just had to know what he thought about Kelly and Simon being friends after KO talked about it in the last interview.
When asked about her on-again, off-again friendship with 2 Cent Simon from their X Factor UK and America’s Got Talent days… Sharon told us it’s “great”. “I’m glad he does.”
And no, she didn’t think Kelly should break up with her boyfriend just because her mom isn’t a fan… telling TMZ: “Simon is good, Simon is great!”
Of course…this all happened after Kelly said Us Weekly … “I would never want to disrespect Simon… he made his own way. Who am I to ever get in the middle of that? And, you know, he had a working relationship with my mother.”
Basically … Kelly said the bad blood is between her mom and Simon, and she’s not interested in getting in the middle, and they don’t seem to be either.
The tipping point between SO and SC seemed to be in 2019… when Sharon claimed Simon canned her from the UK singing competition because she was “too old”… again, she claims.
Can’t we all just get along?
