The fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO Brian Thompson It was one of the biggest stories of the week … so it was no surprise when “Saturday Night Live” addressed the situation first on “Weekend Update.”
Check it out … longtime Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost weighed in on the shoot at the top of the sketch show segment as he grilled New York officials ongoing manhunt and called forth the thirsty response of the earth views of the suspected shooter.
As Jost said … there were two distinct reactions when pictures of the alleged killer have surfaced this week. “Yeah, healthcare stinks” and “Girl, that shooter is hot.”
Scarlett JohanssonHubby especially rocked this taunt, barely holding back a smile as he delivered the joke.He’s clearly seen all the thirsty tweets on X, too!!!
He continued… “It’s also so crazy that the shooting happened 3 blocks away in broad daylight and the guy just rode away on a bike. Probably because all the cops in town are patrolling our Christmas tree.”
The search for the shooter continues after 5 days Thompson’s death and expanded to a nationwide hunt … as New York City’s police commissioner Jessica Table previously reported that the suspect is believed to have Escaped New York via the Port Authority Bus Center.
Although, as Jost joked at one point… “A Port Authority passenger who looks like a kill actually expands the search.”
However, we’re sure there are a few people who don’t find this situation funny, especially when a gunman is still on the loose.
