If: Darren Reese Relinquishes his interim head coach tag in New Orleans full-time … you won’t listen Demario Davis protesting, – says the star of the Saints TMZ Sports she LOVES the boy.
Reese, of course, took over Dennis Allen After the Saints linebacker was canned last month after a dismal 2-7 start … and the former special teams coordinator has since led the team to an impressive 3-2 record.
At Raising Cane’s bike handover event this week, Davis told us that Reese deserves a lot of credit for the turnaround … explaining that he’s done a “phenomenal job.”
The star quarterback then made it clear he would have no qualms if his Saints bosses made Rizzi the permanent head coach in 2025.
“When you get a head coach, man, you just want to have people that will go through a wall for them,” Davis said. “And there’s nobody in the organization that won’t go through Coach Rizzi’s wall.”
Rizzy has three more games left to prove he deserves the gig … but according to Davis, he already knows how things will turn out, telling us: “I’m not worried about how we’re going to finish because I know how he’s steering the ship.”
