Avert your eyes and ears, Bills Mafia … NFL legend! Rod Woodson tells TMZ Sports Lamar Jackson is this year’s MVP — no Josh Allen.
According to the former Baltimore Ravens defensive back, it’s not particularly close either.
“It’s not a question in my head,” the Hall of Famer said this week, “Lamar Jackson is the MVP.”
Allen has been the betting favorite to win the NFL’s top honor for most of this season, especially a few weeks ago, but with Jackson finishing the year strong, it’s basically turned into a coin.
Woodson, who currently serves as the Ravens’ color commentator, said this week that he would cast his vote for Lamar … explaining that the stats tell the whole story.
“39 transitions to 26. Woodson said: “It’s scary to me.”
Lamar dwarfs Allen in almost every meaningful category (outside of rushing touchdowns) … even though he’s played one more game than the Buffalo superstar.
Woodson said his opinion in no way influenced Josh. in fact, he told us “I have a lot of love” for the Bills QB; he just thinks lamar has been so good.
I call this an “MVP sequence” for Lamar

As for Baltimore’s signal-calling team, Woodson said with or without the MVP trophy on their mantle … no team wants to see the Ravens in the playoffs next month.
“When the postseason gets here,” he said, “I don’t think anybody wants to face the Baltimore Ravens.”
