The Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger pleaded guilty to DUI and other offenses months later he crashed his car in maryland.
Jurors found Huger guilty of 7 of the 8 charges brought by prosecutors, including driving under the influence, careless driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision and failure to notify authorities of a change of address.
Huger escaped a reckless driving charge at his Montgomery County arraignment on Wednesday, but now faces up to 2 years in prison when a judge sentences him on Jan. 29.
His lawyer A. Scott Bolden released a statement telling TMZ: “While we are disappointed with the jury’s verdict, we certainly respect their decision and appreciate their time in hearing our case.”
Bolden added: “We continue to reserve the right to appeal Ms. Huger and intend to pursue full justice on her behalf. We appreciate your support and prayers for Ms. Huger and her family at this time.”
TMZ broke the original story … Huger was driving his 2017 Maserati on March 19 in Potomac when he hit a crosswalk and crosswalk sign at an intersection before hitting a parking sign and coming to rest in the roadway.

At the time, Karen released a statement saying she was driving emotionally after having dinner with a friend and discussing her “beloved” dead mother.She said the conversation left her in tears as she tried to drive home, and she says she got distracted is to avoid a car directly on top of him.
Karen now faces up to two years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for January 29.
