The Pop-Tarts Bowl got off to a hot start on Saturday when three giant Pop-Tart mascots took off their silver covers during pregame festivities.
Here’s the deal … the bowl game, which has become a fan favorite since the popular snack brand took over the naming rights last year, kicked off earlier Saturday in Orlando, Florida.

In case you didn’t know, the MVP of the winning team gets to choose a giant Pop-Tart flavor to make the toast, and the team has to investigate the bad guy’s postgame.
To show fans the options for picking a winner, three Pop-Tart mascots ran out in the silver packaging food fans know all too well…and, as announced, they tore off their silver cloaks. .

Check out the video … the two teams play for either a Hot Fudge Sundae, Wild Berry or Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tart, and the mascots came out to promote the teams.
Not only will they partake in a giant Pop-Tart, but they’ll also check out the bowl…it has a toaster attached to the top and can be used to heat up actual Pop-Tarts.

Remember…one of the mascots was “sacrificed” last year when Kansas State beat North Carolina State 28-19 when the Wildcats dug in and ate him.Obviously he’s fine though because he’s back today during a break in the action.
It is unclear who will win this one. Miami is favored by 3.5 points, but one thing is for sure… victory has never tasted so sweet.
