Peanut the Squirrel Shouted Out at UFC 309 and ‘SNL’

The Peanut Squirrel was on many people’s minds Saturday night, from fighters to comedians.

The rodent suspiciously seized and killed by New York authorities earlier this month was part of a UFC victory performance by one. Jim Millerwho told Joe Rogan– “I have one thing to say first. we need justice for Peanut. It’s not just the squirrel, it’s all the kids that went hungry that night, and all the other things the money and resources could have been spent on.”

Miller isn’t done… he reached out to DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency that Trump wants Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead. Elon and Vivek were there, Miller said.

After all, the fight took place in New York, the same state where officials apparently did some shady things to catch and kill the squirrel after it bit a state employee, but the decision to end it. Peanut’s life came days before the raid.

And “SNL” produced its own cameo, with Sarah Sherman playing Peanuts’ harried wife, Mrs. Hazelnut, who said,

While it’s funny, the behavior of the county and state officials was truly disgusting…if they really had a problem with Peanut, why didn’t they just go to the owner’s door and talk instead of having an army of officials search and kill the squirrel? .
