
TMZ Sports Got a video from the police Patrick Mahomes Sr.June’s traffic stop … and unlike the February run-in with the police, everything went smoothly for the “Boss Dad” star. Patrick Mahomes II.
We broke the story … Mahomes Sr. pulled out June 29, 8:30 p.m., Tyler, TX. was arrested for DWI in the same city – after allegations that he committed a traffic violation.
Body camera footage shows that after an officer pulled him over … Mahomes Sr. was surprised to learn he had apparently committed a traffic violation.
“Oh,” Mahomes Sr. can be heard saying in the video, “that’s a no-go zone.”
After a few seconds, he relayed his information to the officer, but the officer quickly pointed out that something was wrong.
The footage shows the officer telling Mahomes Sr. that his license is “not valid.” He later reiterated, “it’s not competent.”
Mahomes Sr. was eventually cited for driving with an invalid license and issued a warning for disregarding traffic signs. Then he was told he was free to go.
It was, of course, a stark contrast to when he was pulled over on February 3 on suspicion of drunken driving.

During that incident. police personnel revealed that the elder Mahomes had tried multiple times to use his son’s name to get out of trouble, but that didn’t work and he was still behind bars.
Mahomes Sr. after that has been closed either way… and told reporters in September that he had given up drinking.
