The West Indian captain claimed his first Test win in Pakistan since 1990 and equaled Jomel Warrican’s five-for-five winning streak of 120 on day three of the second Test in Multan.
Resuming on 76-4 and chasing 178 for victory, Pakistan lost two overnight batsmen without adding to the total as Gavin Sinler (3-61) had the third ball of the morning off Kashif Ali (1) in the next over.
Mohammad Rizwa (25) and Salman Ali Agha (15) added 39 runs before they both fell to the left of Woznan (5-27).
Salman, who had survived earlier, scared off the chance, scared off Ujres, was trapped LBW before Rizwan bowed in to leave Pakistan on 122-8.
Gudakesh Motie (2-35) dismissed Noman Ali (6) before Vozurd removed the tail by clean bowling pine pine khan (7).
It was a remarkable turnaround for West Indies, who lost the first Test at the same venue by 127 and were 38-7 in one of the second Tests after Noman’s historic hat-trick.
However, West Indies’ lower order lifted them to 163, leading all nine runs for a slim first over.
A half-century from second-order captain Craig Bright (52) then guided the West Indies to 244 for a total lead of 253 runs before Pakistan’s batsmen staged a turnaround against the tourists’ spinners.
Defeat in Pakistan pushed them to the bottom of the Test World Cup table as both teams ended their two-year campaigns.
