Olympic kite surfing Bruno Lobo – who just competed in the Paris Games in August, heroically rescued a drowning swimmer last week… and the dramatic rescue was captured on video.
Lobo posted the footage on his Instagram page over the weekend … explaining to his thousands of followers the sighting that took place on January 10, when he was testing out a new outfit while surfing off a Brazilian beach.

In the video, Lobo was seen making his way through the waves… a young woman appeared to be in serious distress as she swam through the choppy waters.
Fortunately, Lobo saw him and was able to slow him down and grab him. He jumped on his back… and the two eventually made it to shore safely.
The woman appeared to be unharmed … and hugged Lobo before he left, apparently with friends and doctors.
Lobo was heralded as a hero in the comment section of his post … and he responded with all the love, saying:
Lobo, who competed in the men’s kiteboarding at the Paris Games over the summer, was able to reunite with the swimmer on Monday … and after being photographed together, the woman’s family captioned it: on flights they are “forever grateful” to Lobo for his actions.
