Three officers, according to the New York State Attorney General’s Office, were present when Robert Brooks he was beaten, according to other court cases involving severe beatings by prison guards.
In documents reviewed by TMZ… Nicholas Ansalone, Glenn Trombley and: Anthony Farina – all three are suspended pending further investigation by the New York City Department of Corrections and the Commissioner of Community Supervision as defendants in lawsuits filed by incarcerated or incarcerated individuals.
A male name in a lawsuit filed in September 2022 Adam Bauer Anzalone is being sued along with several other corrections officers … after he claims he was beaten for no reason in 2020 for smoking a cigarette in a bathroom.
Bauer claims he was searched after he was caught with contraband … but when he turned his back, the officer allegedly punched him multiple times.
After the initial encounter, the suit alleges, several officers, including Ansalone, walked in and either kicked him or stood by and watched their colleagues do so.
Later, while he says officers took him to a local hospital, Bauer says Anzalone “slammed his legs.” Bauer claims the men involved covered up the incident by telling hospital staff a series of lies.
Sergeant Glenn Trombley has been sued twice, including once for an incident in 2020 in which a man Caleb Baus claimed that the guard used pepper spray on him without reason.
Bauze says he ran into the dorm area, but the officer ordered him into the lobby … and when several other correctional officers arrived, Bauze claims he said Bauze assaulted him.
Those officers included Trombley and Farina … who Bauz claims at least looked on as he was beaten, though he’s not sure if they actually participated in the assault.

A third lawsuit, and the second involving Trombley, was filed in 2018 by a man named: Ekvarn White in the Southern District of New York, United States. It was handwritten by White.
White alleges that back in 2015, before Trombley was transferred to Mars Correctional Facility, where Robert Brooks was an inmate, White was incarcerated at Green Haven Correctional Facility in Stormville, New York, where Trombley worked.
According to White, Trombley and several other officers also beat him in an empty classroom…White claims that Trombley held him down while another officer repeatedly hit him in the testicles.
As you know … video showing officers repeatedly punching, choking and kicking Robert Brooks was released yesterday. One man whose body camera was on during the incident was Glenn Trombley, who appeared to be standing by watching the brutal attack.
