Christian Kitzmuller/Alay
Our organs seem to age at a different rate, with our lungs and kidneys bursting getting old in our 20s, earlier than other decades, such as the uterus. A better understanding of how the aging of organs changes may lead to healthy habits that may be particularly beneficial at certain times of life.
This is not the first time that variation in organ aging has been suggested. In 2022, researchers from the National University of Singapore joined forces similar finding according to the protein molecules in the blood.
