Andrea Kimi Antonel, which replaces Mercedes, has been rejected by the World Champion of the World Seven Times in the World Campaign.
While Hamilton’s transition is Ferrari’s largest sports story, which starts with the new season with the Grand Prix of Australia.
Naturally, the decision has led to Antonel, which was connected with Hamilton, who won six titles during the 12 years in historical historical.
Speaking Sky Sports: Since Mercedes began their new partnership last week with Adidas, Antonel said: “I feel like I’m just a new Mercedes driver.
“Saying I’m replacing Lewis Hamilton, I don’t think it’s really true because it’s such a big figure in sports, and he has done so much.
“I feel like I’m just the next Mercedes driver and I really want to make my way and achieve great results and to be successful.”
“The thinker has won”
Antonelli is considered by some, apparently, including the important numbers of Mercedes, to master the level of the descendants of talent Toto Wolff, unable to give up to him to F1.
Although there is little doubt that Antonel has remarkable speed, there are questions of whether he is ready for pressure and inspection, which will come in F1.
“It will not be easy, because my first year in F1, at the end of the day I compete against the 19 best drivers in the world,” said Antonel.
“And, of course, the world of Motorsport, especially, can sometimes be very cruel.
“But the point is that I will just try to stay focused on myself, try to work on the weekend, trying to improve myself.”
After missing Formula 3, Antoneli has only one season of Formula 2 under his zone, but Mercedes has been strictly tested for F1.
Despite the lack of experience, Antonel claims that his goal will be a winning race from the opening stage of the 2025 season in Melbourne.
He added: “Of course, the mindset will be trying to go and win, and we will see later.
“I have good people around me, especially in these moments, they really try to help me ignore all foreign affairs and always focus on this moment.”
