Simu Liu2024 ends on a not-so-great note … as his house was broken into last week, though we’re told there may be a silver lining for the actor.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Simu’s Los Angeles-area home was broken into on Friday when someone broke a glass door around 11 p.m.
Security was alerted to a break-in at Liu’s home and called the police … who searched the home for suspects, but no one was inside.
We’re told Liu wasn’t home at the time…and good news for Liu; his home is currently being renovated and our sources say there was nothing of value inside.
Simu has blown up in Hollywood in recent years…starting her career on the sitcom Kim’s Convenience before garnering much attention as the lead in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings his new film “The Last Breath” will be released.
Liu isn’t the first A-lister to fall victim to break-ins in Los Angeles this year… Tyler Perry, Tom Hanks, Marlon Wayans, Sophia Bush and other famous people robbers hit in 2024.
We reached out to Liu’s team… they declined to comment.
