Mark Zuckerberghe’s not building a doomsday ranch in Hawaii… reports of his 5,000-square-foot basement have left news of his Kauai home inconsistent.
Waiting for your permission to load Instagram media.
Here’s the deal … Bloomberg “Chain” posted uncut footage from their latest episode, in which Zuck tries to clear up last year’s WIRED report that he had a 5,000-square-foot bunker under his Kauai compound.
Meta CEO tells “The Circuit’s Emily Chang – think with a straight face that it’s “just like a little shelter”, boiling it down to essentially just a “basement”.
While Chang begins to criticize the comments, he continues. I think it’s been blown out of proportion, like the whole ranch is some kind of doomsday bunker, which is just not true.”
Mark’s Hawaii home is reportedly on 1,400 acres, so the 5,000-square-foot bunker fits the size of the property and probably has tons of ways to pass the time in the event of a zombie apocalypse.
Zuckerberg goes on to say that the Kauai property is slated for ranching with the goal of producing the highest quality beef in the world … just a “really fun project.”
We will see Mark, we will see 👀.
