“President Trump has ushered in an era of political theater: a collective adrenaline rush to not only bring the masses to his camp, but to turn the masses away from us. We should not underestimate the historic nature of what he has achieved,” Williamson wrote. “In fact, it’s important to recognize the psychological and emotional dimensions of Trump’s appeal. We need to understand it in order to create the energy to counter it.”

“As president, I will work to reinvent the party from within. In fact, if we want a new president in four years and a new Congress in two years, we must immediately achieve the task of creating a new party,” he said. after adding

Williamson also said he would have a “365-day-a-year strategy” to keep Americans politically engaged year-round and that he wants the party to inspire Americans.

Williamson was unable to generate widespread support for his presidential bids, although he remained in the race until the end of the Democratic presidential primaries and gained some traction with Democrats who wanted to protest the White House over the Israel-Hamas war.

Williamson was also hypercritical of the DNC, to an extent, no Holding the first presidential debates against the president Joe Biden Biden’s last cycle and he has complained rigging process against him.

“We have a very broken emotional bond with millions of Americans, especially working people in the United States. We have to address the problem at that level. At the level of the heart. At the level of the mind,” Williamson told ABC News. Live anchor Kyra Phillips Thursday evening. “People are no longer sympathetic to the Democrats. At least not enough to get us the victory we need on the 26th and 28th.”

Williamson needs to get the support of at least 40 DNC members to qualify for the first DNC candidate forum in early January. The DNC plans to host four moderate forums before the election.
