Pornhub will no longer be available in Florida … a major response to a new state law requiring age verification to visit adult platforms, and one porn star tells TMZ the stand is a double-edged sword.
Here’s the deal… Pornhub’s parent company, Aylo, chose to block access to rabid Floridians rather than comply with a law that took effect Jan. 1 that requires a state-issued ID to prove that prospective viewers They are 18 years old.

Maitland Ward tells TMZ … Pornhub is “not perfect” and could do more to keep minors from viewing the free site, but as he sees it, tracking people’s porn habits in Florida is a slippery slope that will make horndogs uncomfortable.
Hailing Pornhub’s position as a defender of free speech, Maitland expects the decision to drive more people to paid celebrity sites and, of course, OnlyFans.
However, MW points out that by pulling out of Florida, the popular Canadian site is alienating a huge population that could be upset… in only one of the four states where professional porn is legal… the decision is a big deal;

Paid sites require a credit card, so sharing ID with that info doesn’t seem too invasive… but then again — PH is free, so uploading a driver’s license is considered too far.
On Monday, the Free Speech Coalition filed a federal lawsuit against the state … alleging the new law violates free speech rights and could put users’ personal information at risk.
