NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny spoke to NBC New York on Thursday, where he reported that there is “no indication” that LM was ever covered by a medical corporation … suggesting that Mangione may be “targeting” UHC status as the nation’s largest healthcare organization.
As Kenney continued, he noted that Mangione “knew in advance that the convention was taking place on that day, at that location,” referring to the Hilton Midtown hotel in New York, where Thompson was staying. fatal shot last week.
Mangio appears to be referring to UnitedHealthcare manifest found on his person when he was arrested at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s Monday.
In the 262-word document, which law enforcement sources confirmed to TMZ, the former Ivy League grad railed against corporations … especially those connected to the healthcare industry.

Kenny suggested a “life-changing, life-altering injury” to Mangione’s back “may have set him on this path” … something LM previously posted on social media.
Mangione, who is currently in was taken into custody by the PA While he is fighting extradition to New York, he is currently facing murder and gun charges in connection with Thompson’s death in Manhattan.
His lawyer said Mangione plans to plead not guiltyand also ask for bail soon.
