Natasha Jonas and Lauren Price met while recording the new release Gloves are off ahead of their world title unification on March 7.
Jonas and Price will fight for the WBC, IBF and WBA middleweight championships at the Royal Albert Hall, live Sky Sports.
Price, an Olympic gold medalist and WBA belt holder, told Jonas directly that he expected to win every round of their contest.
The Welsh star is yet to drop a round in his professional career and is looking to continue that run in his next fight.
“I believe it,” Price said Sky Sports after.
He added: “I believe it’s my toughest test. It’s just another stepping stone. I believe I’m too good and too fast.”
But Jonas rejected the offer.
“It doesn’t matter as long as we’re not in the ring,” Jonas said. “He keeps saying these things, but you put pressure on yourself to back it up.
“You’re not going to lose one round. Well, what happens when the first round goes by? What are you going to do then, because you said you’re not going to lose any rounds?” then in the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth round?
“I would expect you to beat every round of opposition he’s had.”
Jonas argued that Price’s claim actually shows a lack of self-confidence.
“I think he has to say it to himself in order for him to believe it. “You are trying to convince yourself.
“I just think you’re raising yourself. You’re telling yourself, “I can do it.” That’s what I believe he does.
“I’m not buying it.”
