Hostess with Mistress Misty Mansuri, owner of Lady Bird Cafe, is gearing up for the holiday season, and to celebrate, she sat down with ET to share her holiday party essentials.
For starters, Mansouri believes that serving easy, delicious food is the best way to go, and he follows that approach at his own restaurant in Los Angeles, California.
“Visitors can expect refined comfort food with beautiful and fresh ingredients that work together to create simple yet delightful and delicious dishes,” he shares.
“Our short rib served with mashed potatoes, steak frites, seafood risotto, hearty soups and chicken milanese are seasonal favorites.”
When it comes to decor, Mansouri adopts a “the more the merrier” mentality.
“We’re loaded with elaborate Christmas trees, fluorescent lights, traditional color palettes and velvet bows with fireplaces and cozy and cozy blankets,” she explains.
If you can’t get into the restaurant, Mansouri says you can still get into the spirit at home.
“Go fancy with your dress code and outfit. It’s a great time for furs, beautiful wools and cashmere,” she explains.
And to avoid hosting mistakes, Mansouri recommends prioritizing the needs of the partygoers.
“It’s going to be a cold winter, so make sure you have plenty of ways to warm your guests up. You should also offer alternatives to alcoholic beverages, like fun mocktails,” she suggests.
