L.A.’s New D.A. Nathan Hochman Sworn in by Arnold Schwarzenegger

Los Angeles County’s new district attorney Nathan Hochman is set to be sworn in by former California Gov Arnold Schwarzenegger … and TMZ is live.

Hochman replaces outgoing DA George Gasconwho nathany says has been too soft on violent and repeat offenders during his 4 years in office…and apparently the voters agreed.

That’s right … Hochman says he’s going to end what he sees as soft policies that Gascon was known for … like not prosecuting drug possession and misdemeanors … and he’s turning to the ‘Terminator’ star to receive his started on the first day of office.


One of Hochman’s first orders of business will be a review Menendez Brothers business

Eric: and: Lyle they’re hoping to get out of jail…either by getting upset, changing their convictions from murder to manslaughter, or getting a pardon…and Hochman told us last month that he ready to sink its teeth into the shell.

Gascon defended the sentence, but last week the judge postponed the hearing on the matter until January, giving Hochman more time to review the case.

Bottom line… it’s a new day in Los Angeles
